What is a CDC Accredited Installer?
A Comfort Design Certificate (CDC) is issued by a qualified heat pump installer who has used the EzeCalc heat load calculation tool to size a system specifically for your home — based on a full thermal assessment of your rooms, insulation, and climate.
Sized to your home
Before recommending a system, the installer carried out a full room-by-room heat load calculation accounting for your insulation, glazing, orientation, and local climate. A correctly sized system runs more efficiently, heats and cools more evenly, and is built to last.
Trained & verified
CDC Accredited installers have completed Skillsure’s Heat Pump Installers Course and hold an active EzeCalc Pro licence. Both conditions are verified automatically — the badge only appears when both are current.
You get a certificate
Once installed, the technician issues you a Comfort Design Certificate with a unique reference number. It records the system, the calculation, and the installer’s details — a permanent record for your home file.
